Calilayan Cove Beach Park and Restaurant, a beach resort in Malatandang Beach, Unisan in Quezon Province, opened in January 2021. It has been an undiscovered beach place owned by the Verder Family for decades. With the passing of Ben and Gely Verder, their youngest daughter Malou Verder-Carlos decided to develop the beach property. During the pandemic in early 2020, the resort development started which provided jobs for the locals while the rest of the economy struggled. In the new year 2021, the resort finally opened and has been visited by the locals and townsfolk from nearby towns. It was a refreshing reprieve from the woes of 2020 which offers beautiful sunset views to calm one’s soul. Calilayan Cove continues to charm guests who visit for the first time or guests who return to enjoy nature once more. It continues to offer new accommodations and new activities for all the guests.

It is about 4-5 hours drive from Metro Manila where you can relax and experience the calm ocean breezes of Tayabas bay. The calm ocean makes kayaking and paddle boarding an easy and relaxing experience. The “magic mat” also offers a fun experience for kids and adults alike.

Calilayan cove offers several types of accommodations that can cater to groups of 2 to 20. The details of each type of accommodations are in the "accommodations" tab. We have n “Pinayong”  huts, “Bahay Kubo”, "Munting Silid", "Bahay-Bahayan",  Palapa suites, Munting Palapa suites and one (1) exclusive “Silid ni Ben”.  The resort also offers tents and tent spaces for rent. The quaint restaurant named "Kusina ni Gely" also offers delectable dishes for you to enjoy. Come and experience Calilayan Cove, where food and fun begins!
